This is a very rare MISPRINT UK-first MONO press.
Has extra dot between "IN.U.K. SUBJECT"on side 1 label (circled in red in the photo).
Black and yellow Parlophone label with "The Gramophone Co." along the perimeter and the inscription “Sold in the UK .....” below the logo.
Laminated gatefold envelope with the flap facing up on the inside. A single-sided card insert and red halftone "psychedelic" insert were lost.With KT code on side 1.There are a few "hairlines" that do not affect the sound at all. With exception for scratches on side 2. Moving the needle along these grooves causes several clicksbut nothing serious. That's exactly why the price was lowered drastically. But there are no loops or jumps.It plays with great dynamics and in my opinion the sound of this vinyl corresponds to at least VG+ condition.
The green cutout insert and the psychedelic inner sleeve are unfortunately missing andthere are inscriptions inside the envelope that are not visible in the photo.The spine of the cover is a little worn, but the cover itself is still strong, sturdy and in good condition.
It has never been in a smoky room.
A great gift for fans of the great band.
This is a first pressing of the Sgt. A must-have for any serious collector of 1960s psychedelic rock.
