The Voice Projection Unit is an external speaker and amplifier designed to improve the volume and intelligibility of the wearer’s speech while a compatible Avon respirator is being worn.
When installed as part of the complete approved system, speech is received through a compatible internal microphone and projected through the external speaker.
The amplifier does not operate as a complete communications system by itself. Correct operation requires the compatible respirator, microphone or microphone assembly, interface components, and any other required system hardware.
