Condition: Pre owned vintage 1957 RCA Victor 45 RPM record with original picture sleeve showing substantial age and handling wearOriginal 1957 RCA Victor 45 RPM single of (Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear backed with Loving You by Elvis Presley with The Jordanaires, catalog number 47-7000, complete with the original RCA Victor color picture sleeve.Released in connection with the 1957 Paramount motion picture Loving You, this single pairs two classic early Elvis Presley recordings. (Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear became one of Presley’s signature recordings of the period, while Loving You served as the title song for his second feature film. Both recordings feature The Jordanaires and represent Elvis during the height of his breakthrough 1950s RCA Victor period.This copy features the classic black RCA Victor label with the Nipper His Master’s Voice trademark, 45 R.P.M. designation, and “New Orthophonic” High Fidelity notation. The Teddy Bear side carries matrix number H2WW-2193 while the Loving You side carries matrix number H2WW-0418. Several pressing variations of RCA Victor 47-7000 are known, and exact pressing plant identification would require inspection of the stamped markings in the dead wax.The original RCA Victor color picture sleeve is included and features two different Elvis Presley photographs. One side promotes Loving You and shows Elvis holding a guitar, while the reverse promotes Teddy Bear and shows Elvis holding a teddy bear. The sleeve displays substantial age and handling wear including heavy wear and chipping along the top opening, creasing, wrinkles, edge wear, corner wear, small tears, and general discoloration.
