Simple Minds Once Upon A Time Blu-Ray Audio Disc SDE Surround Series #68 Dolby Atmos. New, sealed. Includes slipcase. Just released on September 18, 2026. This was a time limited release; the pre-order window closed at midnight on July 12, 2026. These are our only copies!

Simple Minds’ 1985 album, Once Upon A Time, is now available as this exclusive blu-ray audio edition, featuring an immersive Dolby Atmos Mix by original co-producer Bob Clearmountain, plus bonus tracks and new content. The Once Upon A Time (Region-free) blu-ray audio is #68 in the ongoing SDE Surround Series. It is packaged in a clear amaray case, and ships with a free, collectible SDE Surround Series slipcase. It includes a 16-page booklet with sleeve notes and track-by-track by Simon Cornwell, with contributions from Charlie Burchill.

On release, the band’s most successful album to date sold two million copies in two months and reached No 1 in the UK and the top 10 in America. It contains the classic hit singles ‘Alive and Kicking,’ ‘All the Things She Said,’ ‘Sanctify Yourself,’ and ‘Ghost Dancing’.

In addition to the Atmos Mix of Once Upon A Time, this new blu-ray edition also includes Atmos, 5.1 and stereo mixes of US No 1 single ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’, a selection of 12” remixes (stereo only) and 5.1, stereo and instrumental mixes of the album.
