A fantastic sealed collectible from Prince’s legendary Paisley Park era. The Family was conceived, written, and produced by Prince, making it one of the most sought-after releases from the Paisley Park catalog. The album includes the original recording of “Nothing Compares 2 U,” written by Prince years before it became a worldwide hit.This is an original 1985 U.S. pressing that remains factory sealed with the original “Factory Sealed For Your Protection” sticker still attached. Sealed examples have become increasingly difficult to find, making this an excellent addition for Prince collectors and fans of the Minneapolis Sound.This copy has a factory notch cut through the top edge, indicating a promotional/cutout copy distributed by the record label. The shrink wrap remains intact overall with a small split at the notch. The jacket shows light corner and edge wear from storage, including a few minor imperfections visible through the shrink.
