Stereo Butcher Covers arestatistically between 5 to 10 times more rare than their mono counterparts according to Capitol\'s manufacturing records. The quality of this package (peel and overall quality condition of the jacket, removed trunk slick and vinyl) make this complete package rare indeed. Please examine photos for details of this sensational and historic artifact.This package comes complete with a COA from TheButcherCover certifying the peeling process. The ButcherCover is a professional restoration company thatconsistentlyprovides thebest quality peels often seen being sold here on by a variety of sellers.Also included will be a quality reproduced recall letter and many fun extras about this unusual and coveted album release.The peel is equally as nice and this presents as well as nearly any jacket we have offered in the past. Factory glue lines, residue/ touch up etc isminimal anddoesn\'t interfere with the overall great look andpresentation of this offering as a total package. Most of the peels offered on the internet have obvious and distracting damage to the Butcher slick, but not the case here. This is a gorgeous peel. Overall, this is a solid jacket as far as the seams and spine with only a slight bottom seam split of a few inches near the mouth opening (see close up photo). This small section was reinforcedinside the jacket to prevent spreading. Other than this, the seams and spine are very nice, especially compared to the averagecondition of most genuine 1966 jackets (see spine and seam photos). The spine isnice and complete with all printing legible. The back of the jacket is very clean with just the lightest of wear (see photo of back). Please view allattached photos for details.Comes with an original EX (visual grade w/ some light sleeve scratches) Stereo Scranton pressing and goldenrod 1966 inner sleeve also in nice condition. The Vinyl plays through nicely without skips or any othernoticeable issues. There is somecircular marks in the run out groove on side one but this doesn\'t affect play of the vinyl. Theremoved trunk slick is in very displayable condition with verylittlewear, tear.It should be emphasized that Butcher Covers of this quality and grade are highly desired by collectors and aregenuinely scarce in this condition.

This item is an original 1966 3rd State (Peeled) used example of the legendary Butcher Cover. This item isguaranteed to be authentic. Purchaser understands that this is a used item and therefore we request that that all photos be clearly examined prior to offerding. Given the fact that this item has been professionally peeled and altered from a 2nd state (unpeeled) condition to a 3rd state (peeled) example, this item hascondition elementsthat reflect the process of treatment of the item when it was glued at the Capitol factory in 1966 as well as conditional elements from the actual peeling process. These elements generallyinvolve mild glue lines that were made at the pressing plant when the trunk cover was pasted over but also include some minor issues from the removal and subsequent touch up from the restoration process. This is not a new item but a used one that has been restored through a tedious andcareful process.
