Members include former Vanilla Fudge members bassist Tim Bogert and drummer Carmine Appice, blues guitarist Jim McCarty from Mitch Ryder\'s Detroit Wheels and the Buddy Miles Express, and singer Rusty Day from the Amboy Dukes.
A sorely overlooked 1970s hard rock record, Cactus is full of energy and spontaneity, and (most importantly) blistering electric guitar.
