Under Lock and Key took the melodic hooks, George Lynch’s monster guitar work and Don Dokken’s vocals and turned them into one of the defining hard-rock albums of 1985. Unchain the Night, The Hunter, In My Dreams, It’s Not Love, Lightnin’ Strikes Again — this thing is loaded front to back.

This copy is an original 1985 U.S. RCA Music Service club pressing, not a modern reissue. The R-143860 RCA identifiers on the label and jacket distinguish this version from the standard retail Elektra pressing. The RCA club edition is also documented with MASTERDISK / RL mastering in the runouts, tying it to Bob Ludwig’s mastering work.

The vinyl is NM, with the jacket graded VG+ for normal cosmetic wear — a seriously nice surviving copy of an album that lived through the absolute peak of the ’80s metal era.
