An original UK 3-LP mono box set featuring George Frideric Handel\'s immortal masterpiece Messiah, performed by the Huddersfield Choral Society and the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent. Issued on the collectible Columbia \"Blue/Gold\" label (33CX 1146, 1147, 1148 / Masterworks Series LP 806), featuring renowned vocal soloists Elsie Morison, Marjorie Thomas, Richard Lewis, and Norman Walker.

[CONDITION DETAILS]

  • Record / Vinyl: VG+ condition. All 6 sides retain strong original surface gloss with clean playback grooves. Inspection shows only light superficial paper scuffs and minor hairlines from handling over the years. No deep or feelable scratches.

  • Sleeve / Jacket: VG condition. Textured maroon cloth-bound box structure is sturdy with strong corners and clear gold-foil spine lettering. The front cover art panel displays minor surface wear, a small vintage address label affixed at the top-left corner, and a name written neatly in ink at the top-right corner.

  • Inlay / Inserts: VG+ condition. Includes the original green multi-page libretto/program insert booklet in clean shape, along with original poly-lined paper inner sleeves.

  • Labels: Classic UK Columbia Blue and Gold Microgroove labels are bright, clean, and free of writing, showing minimal spindle trails around center holes.
